A kind of wild mugwort grown all over Japan. Its buds are edible in spring to early summer. Akunuki is necessary because of its strong harshness. Used for tempura, cooked with rice or mochi (Kusamochi). Yomogi is also a medicine, dried and used for moxa cautery.
