  1. In large bowl, beat butter.
  2. Gradually add sugar and beat with mixer 10 minutes (this is essential).
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat after each egg.
  4. In a small bowl, whip cream and add to mixture.
  5. Add vanilla.
  6. With spoon, add flour; mix well, but do not beat.
  7. Grease tube or bundt pan and pour cake mixture.
  8. Place in 325°F oven, not preheated.
  9. Bake for 1½ hours; turn upside down after baking onto plate.
