Purchased from the O'Reilly Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1988. Date and source unknown. This is a great summer salad when strawberries are fresh and plentiful.

Ingredients Edit

• 4 cups torn salad greens
• 1 cup watercress
• 1 cup sliced hulled strawberries
• ½ half of a small red onion, thinly sliced
• poppy seed dressing (below)

Poppy seed dressing Edit

• 1 teaspoon honey
• ½ teaspoon dry mustard
• ½ teaspoon paprika
• ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
• ½ teaspoon poppy seeds
• ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
• ¼ cup fresh orange juice
• ¼ cup mayonnaise

Directions Edit

1. In a salad bowl place greens, watercress, strawberries and onion.
2. Top with dressing and toss to coat.
3. Combine ingredients in jar, shake well.
