This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hoyt Estate in Allen, Texas in 1989.

  1. Crush feta to a paste then add sauce and eggs while stirring well.
  2. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  3. Line baking pan with oil then place about 10 sheets of buttered dough in baking dish.
  4. Pour batter and flatten with a spatula then continue with the rest of the filo sheets.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  6. Cool then cut into squares and serve.
