- 1 can low-sodium tomato juice
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Onion
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp arrowroot powder
- 3/4 tsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp fresh ground black pepper
Combine all ingredients in screw-top jar; shake to blend. Pour into small saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring. Bring to a boil and continue cooking, stirring, 1–2 minutes or until slightly thickened. Allow to cool. Return to jar and keep refrigerated. Serving size is 1 tablespoon.
