Ingredients[]
- 1½ pounds lean ground beef
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 2 cups chopped green peppers
- 1 to 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 x 14½ to 16-ounce can tomatoes, chopped
- 3 cups cooked rice
Directions[]
- Cook beef, onions, green peppers, chili powder, salt, pepper and garlic powder until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender, stirring frequently to crumble meat.
- Add tomatoes and rice.
- Spoon into buttered 2-quart casserole.
- Bake at 350 °F for 25 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
