  1. Julienne the cabbage and rub some salt in.
  2. Fry the onion in hot oil and then set the cabbage to fry, stirring continuously and adding a little water every now and then.
  3. Add the bay leaf, garlic, pepper, and the oregano.
  4. When the cabbage is almost done, add the peeled and thinly sliced tomatoes, mix well and simmer until there is almost no liquid left.
  5. Serve as a side dish.
