  1. Wash the peppers.
  2. Cut off their tops and take out the seeds.
  3. Cover with salted boiling water, simmer 5 minutes, and drain.
  4. Cook beef and onions in oil.
  5. Add salt, sage, tomatoes, and rice.
  6. Arrange peppers upright in a baking dish.
  7. Fill with the meat mixture.
  8. Top with breadcrumbs and melted fat.
  9. Grated cheese can be used.
  10. Bake in preheated oven at 350˚F (180˚C) for 35 minutes.
