Taos Tacos

1 pound lean ground beef 1 pkg. Lawry's Taco Spices and seasonings (1.25 oz) 1/3 cup beer 1/4 cup water 1 can kidney beans, drained(15.25 oz) 1 medium tomato, chopped 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions 1 T. chopped cilantro or parsley Flour tortillas, taco shells, or pita breads Grated Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese for garnish Guacamole for garnish Salsa for garnish Sour cream for garnish

In large skillet, brown ground beef, stirring until cooked through; drain fat. Add taco spices and seasoning, beer, and water; blend well. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Add kidney beans, tomato, green onions, and cilantro; blend well. Simmer 5 minutes. Serve in tortillas, taco shells or pita breads. Garnish each serving with your choice of grated Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese, guacamole, salsa, and sour cream. Variation: Use 3/4 cup water instead of 1/2 cup beer and 1/4 cup water.
