TURNIP BORŠC

- 500 g Beef or Veal bones
- 1 beetroot
- 4 potatoes
- 2 turnips
- 1 Onion
- 1 carrot
- 3 tblsps tomato paste
- 20 g Pork fat or margarine
- 1 tblsp 3% vinegar
- 2 tblsps sour cream
- spices
- salt

- Add cubed potatoes and turnips to bone stock and boil till half done. 10 minutes before the boršc is done, add boiled and shredded beet, also add Onion and carrots sauteed in Pork fat or margarine, tomato paste, spices, Sugar, vinegar, salt and cook over a slow fire until it is done.
- Before serving season the boršc with sour cream.
