  1. Soak tamarind in 2 tbsp of hot water for 5 minutes.
  2. Squeeze and strain out thick tamarind juice from it.
  3. Mix salt, chili powder, sugar and strained tamarind juice into the chopped vegetables.
  4. Stir well and chill the vegetables till required.
  5. Serve with bread slices.
