  1. Mix together in a dough.
  2. Roll out in thin layer and cut into 1½ inch circles.
  3. Slash designs with knife of half of each circle.
  4. On other half put ½ tsp of either nut, brown sugar, butter or margarine.
  5. Turn over like ½ moon pies.
  6. Crimp edges.
  7. Bake at 350°F until brown.
  8. Roll in powdered sugar.
