  • 1 Package (10 ounces) - frozen sliced California strawberries in syrup, thawed
  • 1/4 Cup - water
  • 2 Tablespoons - Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup - Orange-flavored liqueur
  • 1 Tablespoon - lemon juice

Directions Edit

In small saucepan combine strawberries, water and Sugar. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Cool to room temperature. In blender or food processor fitted with metal blade combine strawberry mixture, liqueur and lemon juice; blend until smooth. Pour into shallow pan; freeze until firm about 1 inch around edges. Beat smooth. Return to freezer, freeze firm. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
