This deliciously spicy and heavy Burmese vegetarian dish is very easy to prepare and cook.

  1. Put all ingredients except the sweet potatoes in a large saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Stir.
  4. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add sweet potatoes, stir well and simmer for 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft and tender.
