Sour Cream Cinnamon Nut Pound Cake
1 1/2 t. sugar 1 t. cinnamon 1 cup butter or margarine, softened 2 cups sugar 2 eggs 1 carton sour cream (8 oz) 2 cups flour, unsifted 1 rounded t. baking powder 1/4 t. salt 1 cup finely chopped pecans 1 t. vanilla
Combine sugar and cinnamon. Set aside. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat in sour cream. Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add to batter, mixing well. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Pour 1/3 batter in well greased 10 inch tube pan. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Pour in remaining batter. Bake in preheated 325 oven for 1 hour 20 minutes or until done. Source: Unknown
