French for Sherbet, meaning iced water, generally made of puréed fruits, water, sugar and other ingredients. Unlike icecreams this does not contain milk, air is not infused, so it is hgh dense, some times comntain liquor as well. Used as a satrter by french and rivals icecream in taste.
Light dessert, generally made of puréed fruits, water and sugar; frozen before serving.
