In Romanian: Pui inabusit
- Salt the chicken and place in a pan with melted lard.
- Fry on all sides, add 4 – 5 tablespoons of water or chicken broth, cover and simmer.
- Occasionally turn the chicken and if the liquid is too reduced, add 1 – 2 tablespoons of water.
- At the end, you may add a little crushed garlic.
- Serve with french fries and green lettuce or cucumber salad.
