  1. Heat oil in a large skillet and saute garlic, onion, pepper and TVP.
  2. In a bowl, mix tomato paste with water, oregano, ketchup, cayenne, Worcestershire sauce and honey is using.
  3. Stir into skillet. Bring to a boil and add salt if desired.
  4. The sauce should be thick but spreadable.
  5. If desired, toast rolls. Spoon the sauce over the bottom half of the roll, pile on the lettuce and top with remaining roll half.
