Sizzling Salsa Steak Sandwich

Serves 4

4 beef strip loin steaks, cut 1/2 inch thick 4 oblong shaped rolls, split and toasted 1/2 cup picante sauce 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 cup green onions, chopped lettuce leaves

Mix picante sauce, sour cream and green onions to make sandwich spread. Season both sides of steak with black pepper. Grill steaks over medium ash-covered coals 6-7 minutes, turning once. (Or pan fry over medium-high heat for 6 minutes turning occasionally.) Spread rolls with 2 Tbsp. spread per side. Top with lettuce leaf and sizzling steak. Close sandwich and serve hot
