- Makes 2 cups
- ¼ cup margarine
- ¼ cup flour
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- 1 can condensed chicken broth
- ¾ cup water
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Melt margarine in pan.
- Blend in flour and pepper, then cook, stirring constantly, just until sauce thickens and bubbles, 3 minutes.
- Stir in lemon juice.
- Serve hot with poultry or use in casseroles containing chicken or turkey.
