Shanghai Marinade

1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup oil 1/4 cup white wine 1 t. sugar 1 garlic clove, minced 2 dashes hot pepper sauce 1 strip fresh orange, lemon or tangerine peel (2 inches)

Mix all ingredient in small bowl. Pour over meat and let marinate 1 hour to overnight, depending on thickness of meat and amount of flavor desired. Pan or oven broil or barbecue. Makes 3/4 cup Source: My Old Recipes
