Scented Bath Salts
Materials for 3 cups of bath salts: Large glass or metal mixing bowl 2 cups Epsom salts 1 cup sea salt or rack salt Food coloring: Green or blue, optional 1/4 t. glycerin (for skin softening) essential oil, such as peppermint, citrus or coconut (for fragrance) Clean, dry jar(s), each with a cork stopper or metal screw on lid.
Combine salts in bowl. Mix well. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix well. Continue adding drops of food coloring until desired shake is achieved. For white salts, skip this step. Add glycerin and 4 or 5 drops of essential oil. Mix well. Spoon salts into containers and seal. Store any leftover salts in an airtight container. Source:Unknown
