Sauteed Shell Steaks with Cheese & Parsley Oven Fries

3 baking potatoes 5 tbs olive oil 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 1 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp + 1/8 tsp pepper 4 shell steaks 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese 3 tbs chopped parsley

Heat oven to 450 degrees.* Cut each potato lengthwise into 8 wedges. Toss potatoes together with 3 tbs olive oil, garlic, 3/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper in a bowl until potatoes are coated. Spread potatoes in single layer on a baking sheet. Bake 25 min. turn potatoes over halfway through cooking.

Heat remaining oil in skillet. Season the steaks with the remaining salt and pepper. When skillet is hot, place 2 steaks in the skillet, saute for 3 min. on each side or until done. Remove steaks to a plate, keep warm. Saute the remaining steaks.

Remove potatoes from oven. Increase oven temp to broil. Run the potatoes under the broiler 5 min. or until browned. Toss with Parmesan and parsley in a bowl. Serve with the steaks. MAKES 4 SERVINGS OF STEAKS AND FRIES.*
