  1. Wash the dried beans and soak in cold water for 7-9 hours.
  2. Put in a pot together with the soak water, add the cleaned meat and bring to a boil.
  3. Skim off the scum.
  4. Add the sauerkraut, chopped onion and salt.
  5. Cook at a low temperature.
  6. Remove from heat when it goes consistent.
  7. Serve it hot.
  8. With the pork you may serve grated raw carrots.
