- 38 g beets, canned or fresh, coarsely grated or sliced into matchsticks
- 6 g chopped fresh dill
- 25 g seeded, chopped fresh cucumber
- 150 ml buttermilk or kefir
- 18 g sour cream
- pinch salt
- 3 – 4 hard-boiled egg slices
- 6 g chopped green onion
- Put all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well; garnish with fresh dill.
- Refrigerate at least one hour before serving.
- Serve with boiled, lightly salted potatoes on the side.
