- 1 Cup Uncooked Long grain rice
- 2 1/2 Cup vegetable broth
- 1 T. margarine
- 1 T. salt
- 1/3 Cup Sliced Unblanched almonds
- 2 T. margarine
Mix rice, vegetable broth, 1 T. margarine And salt in a Medium Pan. Bring to Boil. Stir With Fork. Lower Heat. Cover Pan. Simmer 20 Minutes or Until Liquid is Absorbed And rice is Tender. While rice Cooks, Brown almonds in The 2 T. margarine in Small Skillet. Stir almonds Into rice And Season With salt And pepper. Spoon Onto Heated Serving Platter. Serves 6
