This stone-cold smoothie is made and mixed with real fruit and is great for breakfast and with other fruits or desserts, as it delivers a frozen aroma that it relishes. Keep the fruits and the vanilla extract blending to make it greater.
- 6 ounces plain fat-free yogurt
- 1 medium peach, sliced
- ½ cup raspberries
- 1 ⅞ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon sweetener
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
- Pour into a tall glass and serve.
You can also use frozen, unsweetened peaches and raspberries instead of or in addition to fresh fruit. For a thicker smoothie, add ¼ cup of ice cubes before blending.
