PRALINE SAUCE This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hager Estate in Canton, Texas in 1982. 2 tablespoons butter 14 cup light brown sugar 1/2 cup heavy cream 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom Melt butter in skillet then add brown sugar, cream and cardamom. Cook stirring constantly until slightly thickened then remove from heat.
