Pork Chops with Sour Cream

This is super. Season 4 loin chops, cut half an inch thick with salt and pepper. Dredge them with flour and brown in a small amount of fat. Put them in a casserole. Blend and add 1/2 cup water, 1 bay leaf, 2 T. wine or vinegar, 1 T. brown sugar and 1/2 cup sour cream. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours or until chops are done and the baked potatoes, squash or other vegetables you've naturally put in the oven at the same time are tender. Source: My Old Recipes
