- 5 big potatoes-thick sliced
- 1 can progresgo's Chicken with Barley soup
- 1 can chicken broth
- 4 tblsp butter
- 2 tblsp flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tblsp cut into squares butter-top of potatoes
1.-slice washed potatoes and soak in water then preheat oven at 350 degrees. 2.-over low heat in med. sauce pan melt 4-tblsp of butter,after butter is melted, add (sprinkle)flour, whisk in milk. whisk until lumps are gone and smooth. 3.-add Chicken with Barley and cook until boils. 4.-add chicken broth, cook until boils still whisking. 5.-coat buttom of glass (6x9) pan and add potatoes by layers once pan is almost filled add soup mixture. 6.-2-tblsp cut the butter into squares and top potatoes then cover with foil. let cook for an hour, then uncover and add rest of mixture and let cook an half hour. garnish as desired
