Polynesian Shrimp Salad

1 can pineapple chunks (15 oz) 2 T. cornstarch 1 t. curry powder 1/2 t. onion flakes 3 t. lemon juice 1/2 cup salad dressing 1/3 cup sour cream 12 oz. cleaned frozen shrimp, thawed 1/2 cup sliced water chestnuts 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni 1/2 cup crushed cashew nuts

Drain pineapple. Reserve juice. In small pan, mix cornstarch, curry, onion flakes, reserved pineapple juice and a dash of salt. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Stir in lemon juice. Cool. Blend in salad dressing and sour cream. In bowl, mix pineapple chunks, shrimp, macaroni, water chestnuts, and cashews. Mix well. Chill several hours before serving.
