  1. Wash and cut octopus into small pieces.
  2. Place octopus in a pot with two bay leaves and 3 tablespoons of oil.
  3. Heat on medium.
  4. Allow octopus to cook for approximately 20 minutes.
  5. Add tomatoes, cloves of garlic, diced onion and hot pepper.
  6. Heat on medium low until stew-like.
  7. Stir occasionally.
