Polish Cabbage Rolls

  1. Mix ground beef, parboiled rice, egg,chopped onion, salt and pepper.
  2. Mix together large can chopped tomatoes, large jar saurkraut drained & rinsed.
  3. Drop cabbage in boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes.
  4. Remove 10 large leaves.
  5. Chop remaining cabbage.
  6. Place in bottom of crockpot with tomatoes & saurkraut.
  7. Place 2 to 4 tbsp of meat mixture in center of each leaf.
  8. Roll up and poke finger in both sides to hold cabbage roll.
  9. Place open side down into crockpot.
  10. Add peeled & quartered red potatoes.
  11. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
  12. If adding bay leaves, remove before serving.
