Pinto Beans

3 T. unsalted butter 1 small onion, chopped 4 cans whole pinto beans, drained (15 oz. each) 1 t. kosher salt

Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the beans and salt. Cook, stirring until warmed through, about 10 minutes. Serves 8 Source: Real Simple
