Pineapple Cheese Ball

1 pkg. cream cheese, softened (8 oz) 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained 1 cup chopped pecans, divided 2 T. finely chopped green pepper 1 t. minced purple onion 1 1/2 t. seasoned salt

combine cream cheese and pineapple in a mixing bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until well blended. Add 3/4 cup pecans, green pepper, onion and salt. Stir well. Shape cheese mixture into a ball. Roll in remaining 1/4 cup pecans. Cover and chill at least 1 hour. Serve with an assortment of crackers. Makes one 4 inch cheese ball.
