An exceptionally high-quality alternative to butter is made only with pesto and used as a dip. Black pepper and oregano rarely work for this recipe, too while color, effort, and quality are worth them.
- Stir ingredients into softened butter.
- Cover and chill at least 8 hours.
- Serve on chicken breasts, baked potatoes, steamed vegetables, or pasta. Reserve the sauce-based butter in the refrigerator.
