This recipe came from an estate sale. It was obtained when the family collection was purchased from the Burnett Estate in Terrell, Texas in 1981.

  1. Wash peppers then remove seeds and centers and cut into serving pieces.
  2. Bring vinegar, oil and salt to a boil.
  3. Add a few peppers and onions at a time turning in boiling liquid until peppers change color.
  4. Cool and store in refrigerator until ready to use.
