Pecos River Beans

2 cups pinto beans 1 pound bacon, diced and cooked crisp 2 fresh jalapenos, diced 1 medium onion, diced 3 clove garlic, minced 1 can (No 303) tomatoes, drained Salt and pepper to taste

cook beans and drain. Mash, adding bacon and all the bacon grease. Add jalapenos, onion, garlic, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Source: John and Jean Gilliam
