Pecan Sour Cream Dip
2 pkg. cream cheese, softened (8 oz each) 1 cup sour cream 1/4 cup milk 1 cup chopped dried beef 4 t. minced green onions 1 t. garlic salt 1 T. butter 1 cup chopped pecans
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream and milk until smooth. Add beef, green onions and garlic salt. Stir well. In a small skillet, heat butter on medium high heat. Cook pecans stirring constantly until browned. Add cream cheese mixture to toasted pecans. Stir until heated through. Transfer mixture to a fondue pot and keep warm over very low heat. Serve with bread sticks, crackers, apples and vegetables. This is a popular Southern dip. Source: Unknown
