Peas with Tomatoes

Description

In Romanian: Mazare cu rosii.

Ingredients

• 2 lbs/1 kg Peas,
• 1 tablespoon butter,
• 4-5 tomatoes,
• 1 Onion,
• 1 teaspoon Sugar (optional),
• 1 teaspoon chopped dill, salt

Directions

1. Fry the onions in butter until yellow.
2. Add Peas, peeled, seeded and chopped tomatoes, Sugar, salt and dill.
3. Simmer until the Peas are done.
4. There should be very little liquid left.
