  1. Pour 1 cup of fruit juice into a bowl.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin over top to soften.
  3. Let stand 5 minutes.
  4. Boil remaining 1 cup orange juice (or water).
  5. Stir into gelatin mixture until it dissolves, about 3 minutes.
  6. Stir in vanilla.
  7. Pour into a rinsed 8 inch square cake pan.
  8. Chill about 4 hours until firm.
  9. Cut into 1 inch squares to serve.
