  1. Combine rice, milk, orange peel and salt in medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 25 minutes, or until thickened, stirring often.
  3. Add gelatin and vanilla; cool.
  4. Fold topping and oranges into rice mixture.
  5. Spoon into 12 individual 1/2-cup molds or 6-cup ring mold.
  6. Chill until firm. Unmold onto serving plates.
  7. Garnish with additional whipped topping, if desired.
