Onion Sauce For Meats
- 1/4 Cup margarine
- 2 Cups onions, Sliced
- 3 T. flour
- 2 Cups Meat Stock or Bouillon
- 1/2 T. salt
- 1/8 T. pepper
Melt 2 T. butter in Skillet. Add Onion. Fry Until Brown. Remove onions. Add Remaining butter to Skillet. Melt, Stir in flour, Brown Thoroughly. Add Stock Slowly, Stirring Constantly. Cook Until Thick And Smooth. Add onions, salt, pepper. Simmer 5 Minutes. Serve Over Meats.Makes 3 Cups.
