This is another great tasting bread. I got this one from John Ross on another group. I did not use the water and had enough moisture in the bread so maybe start without and add if needed. I also use the oven method and baked this at 375� for 30 to 35 minutes. I will shape this into an oval loaf and bake on a cookie sheet next time I make it.

Onion Bread 1 1/2 lb. loaf

1 1/2 tablespoon applesauce 2 tablespoons dill seed 3 tablespoons dried minced onion 3/4 cup sour cream 3/4 cup cottage cheese, nonfat 1/4 cup water (I omitted) 1 egg 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 3 1/3 cups bread flour 1 package yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)

Place all ingredients in your machines fully assembled pan and in the order specified by your machines manufacturer. Select the Basic Or White cycle and press start. After the first 10 minutes of kneading check the dough and make any necessary adjustments.
