  1. Combine flour, rolled oats and salt in mixing bowl.
  2. Slowly drizzle in oil, mixing with a fork until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
  3. Add ice water slowly until mixture begins to form a ball.
  4. Pat into 9 inch pie plate.
  5. Bake according to filling recipe.
  6. For baked pastry shell: prick pastry with fork in several places.
  7. Bake at 400°F 10 minutes until light golden brown.
