• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup Sugar
• 2/3 cup flour, sifted
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups quick-cooking oats
• 1/4 cup milk

• Heat oven to 375°.
• Melt butter, stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well.
• Drop by 1/2 teaspoonful about 3 inches apart on a greased and floured sheet.
• Bake for 5-7 minutes
