1/2 lb. homemade or commercial lasagne noodles 1 T. oil 2 cans cream of shrimp soup, or 2 1/2 cups medium white sauce 1 lb. crabmeat 1/4 cup parsley 2 cups small curd cottage cheese 8 oz. cream cheese 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 medium onion, chopped 1 t. Worcestershire 2 t. basil 1/2 t. lemon juice Salt and pepper to taste 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Cook homemade noodles 3 minutes in salted water, adding oil. If using commercial noodles, cook according to package directions. Combine soup, crabmeat and parsley. Combine next 8 ingredient. Butter 3 quart casserole dish. layer 1/2 noodles, 1/2 cheese mixture, all crab mixture, remaining noodles, remaining cheese mixture and top with tomatoes. Bake 15 minutes at 350. Top with cheddar cheese and continue cookie for 30 minutes. Serves 8 Source: Mrs. John W. McQuiston
