Mushroom Onion Cream Sauce

1/2 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced 1 onion, finely chopped 2 shallots, finely chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 4 T. butter 1/4 cup dry white wine 2 t. flour 1 can chicken broth (10.5 oz) 1 t. beef extract (Bovril) 3/4 cup cream Salt and pepper to taste

Saute mushrooms, onion, shallots, and garlic in butter until onions are soft. Add wine and cook until wine is almost evaporated. Add flour and cook for 2 minute, stirring and turning. Add the remaining ingredients and cook, stirring, until sauce is thickened. Source: With Love from Darling's Kitchen
