Wash the sago and soak it in water for 1 hour. After soaking, drain the sago and put in a large saucepan. Add 3 cups of water and boil. Simmer over medium heat until the sago turn transparent. Set aside and chill. In a small pan, dissolve the palm sugar in 1 cup water and heat the mixture gently until the Sugar completely dissolves and turns a syrup consistency. Cool the mixture and strain. Put 4 tablespoons sago and 3 tablespoons syrup in a tall glass and mix well. Add 3-4 ice cubes and fill the glass with coconut milk. Stir and serve immediately. Serves 4.
