Mexican Chef Salad

1 head lettuce 2 tomatoes 1 avocado 1 bag Doritos, broken 1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 can red kidney beans (15 oz) 1 onion, chopped 6 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated 1 cup Thousand island dressing (Kraft)

Brown ground beef and 1/2 onion. Drain. Add beans; let cool while making the salad. Mix lettuce, tomatoes, avocado and remainder of chopped onion. Add dressing and mix. Add cheese and Doritos. Don't add doritos too soon before serving or they will become soft.Just before serving, add meat and mix well. Serves 6 Source: My Old Recipes
